Location
Grainau is a climatic health resort at the foot of the Zugspitze. Lake Eibsee, the Zugspitze railway and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are a few minutes away. In summer the hiking trails start in the village, in winter the ski area and cross-country tracks are close by.
Getting here
Schmölzstraße 1, 82491 Grainau. A good hour from Munich by car via the A95, with parking at the house. By train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then bus or the Zugspitze railway to Grainau.
