Bathing seas
The Eibsee is only 6km away from our Hotel. Here you can walk around the lake within 2 hours or lend a pedalo.
Paragliding
This leisure activity can be exercised at several mountains. Hausberg, Wank or the Zugspitze itself..
Golf
The 9-hole Golf-Club Werdenfels e.V. is situated only 5 kilometres from the Hotel. Our reservation is pleased to make an appointment.
Ice skating, curling
For this winter sports you can use the ice rink in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Carriage Rides
We organize carriage rides within Grainau or Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Rafting
In Tirol at the Imster Schlucht, rafting is also suited for beginners. We are pleased to make Appointments.
Royal Castles
The royal castles of King Ludwig are easily accessible from here, Linderhof Palace is located on the road to Oberammergau and can be reached in just 20 km. The two castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau in Fuessen can be reached within 40 minutes.
Alpine Ski
Numerous ski resorts are located on the mountains around our hotel, in the middle of the skiing panorama of Garmisch-Partenkirchen- Grainau / Zugspitze. The ski bus to the Zugspitze stops right behind the hotel. The bus is included within the environmental ticket of Grainau.
Cross-country skiing
Directly behind the hotel in a distance of about 50m begins a cross-country from where you can walk out to Hammersbach or center or Untergrainau.Bike and hiking / walking paths:Very close to the hotel mountain trails start in and around Grainau, as well as walks to Eibsee or Pflegersee. From here you can reach huts and mountain lakes, ruins or just watch the beautiful nature.
Minigolf
There are two resorts for Minigolf in Garmisch.
Cycling / Mountain biking
The reception offers contact info for a bicycle rental in summer. We also work very closely with a tour agency which organizes tours along the routes from easy to difficult from Garmisch to Lake Garda.
Tennis
Tennis courts such as indoor and outdoor courts are available at the tennis center Rösner in Grainau, the reception will be pleased to make an appointment.
